I hope you are doing well and doing what you need to do for your self-care. I know there is uncertainty in our world and many extra things we are all having to grapple with currently. The media is focusing on mostly negative information regarding those in a job search right now. I want to encourage you not to give up. There is good news too. I just received these messages from 2 different clients:

#1: Just wanted to send you a quick update and thank you!

I’m in final round interviews for a community relations coordinator role for one of the biggest hospital systems in Cleveland! I also have an initial interview with their competitor, Cleveland Clinic, for a Research Project Manager role next week. If that wasn’t motivating enough, my resume was just forwarded to a hiring manager for a role at a local college here. The role is for Assist Director of a Women’s Center on campus.

None of these are job offers but it’s traction that I didn’t think I would see, especially with our current climate. It’s incredibly motivating to see that I’m being given an opportunity to speak to people about my experience!

I am so so thankful to you for all the tips, guidance, and effort that you put into helping me re-brand. Between my updated resume and all the networking I’ve been doing, I know it’s made every bit the difference to land me these opportunities! Thanks again and I just want to remind you how much of a difference you make in peoples’ lives!

#2: Doing good.  I got a job in California for the money I wanted plus up to $10,000 in bonuses per year.  Heading out in a couple of weeks.  Can’t wait.

Being willing to think outside of the box and consistent networking is key. If I can be of support with this, please let me know.

I hope you enjoy and get value out of this week’s round-up of curated articles just for you that I know are providing the best of the best in the areas of Job Search, Career Transition/Exploration, Career Advancement/Leadership Development and Work-Life Balance/ Mindfulness.

I would love your feedback because this really is for you. If you have requests of what you would like to see or want to ask me any questions, feel free to reach out to me.

Have a great week. I will be sending positive energy your way.
